Same old same old.

How does one get more visitors? I know it’s an age-old question but GotMyVote.com is not getting enough visitors through.

Now it’s been indexed by most of the search engines - but what are some ideas for getting more people through?

I’ve posted in newsgroups but want to balance that with not being seen to be a spammer. I’ve told all my friends and family about it.

Yesterday I sent out a press release but only got a response from one newspaper.

What else can you do that doesn’t requires spending the bucks?

I may try emailing some of the bigger blogs but I really want to avoid banner ads and even Google TextAds.

I’m confident that once GotMyVote hits a critical mass of visitors, I won’t be needing any advertising at all.

I thought the referral system would help but i guess you have to get people in to see the system before they know they can make money from it.

This is hard work.

Maybe I need some venture capital so I can go do some conventional advertising?

Or maybe I need to issue press releases to ACA/Today Tonight and some of the Women’s Magazines - After all the site is genuinely about the symbiotic relationship of consumers and businesses and everyone does win.
