This Sunday just gone I paneled and presented simultaneously at 6PR. Doesn’t sound like much to those who have done it before, but it’s a big step for me!

It went pretty well. One screw-up but Peter soon helped me sort that out – and it probably wasn’t obvious to listeners. That’s a good thing as it would be pretty embarrassing to screw up when so many people are listening.

What I am finding a bit challenging – is to keep switched on verbally when trying to focus on the technical elements of getting the right buttons in the right order!

Next weekend is the big test. Sitting in for Tod Johnston on the “Big Weekend”. That’s 12pm-4pm Saturday and Sunday. Long shifts!

Still – I’m really looking forward to it!
